Continuous Re-integration is coming soon...

Rebranding alert! Glim & Umbra is becoming Continuous Re-integration: technologies for wholeness.

Rebranding is exciting, a little scary, and a lot of work. In the coming weeks, Glim & Umbra will be reborn as Continuous Re-integration: technologies for wholeness.

As the creator, it's hard to be patient – I want my new toys now! But there's a lot to do: new domain, new look, new slate of offerings. While the rebranding work happens behind the scenes, I wanted folks to know what's coming.

I've worked in tech for over two decades, immersed in an analytical culture that values rigorous data collection, high productivity, efficiency, and blistering innovation. For years I had a love-hate relationship with these qualities. I valued their power but felt trapped in a mode that made it hard to relax into creativity, ease, and intuition.

🧠
Continuous Re-integration is a play on words. Every day, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools help thousands of engineers test, integrate, and deploy code into the world.

These tools helped the industry adapt as software become more and more complex, and we figured out that making a lot of small, frequent changes was a waaaay better approach than trying to ship big changes less often.

I liked the CI/CD analogy, since we often try for big overhauls in our own lives instead of making small, consistent changes for the better.

Even more important, I see integration as the key to unlock physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

As lifelong spiritual nerd, I found a path to wholeness through both new and ancient technologies. Now I'm using those technologies to help people re-integrate the analytical and the holistic, mind and body, thinking and feeling, doing and being.

I'll draw on my expertise in:

  • the engineering of complex software systems
  • the science of interpersonal neurobiology
  • practical tools from spiritual and mystical traditions

I'll also be partnering with some incredible teachers and coaches. Workshops, online programs, weekend retreats, videos and podcasts, are all in the works.

If what I'm describing piques your interest, I'd love to hear from you.

  • What excites you about this vision?
  • Where are you struggling?
  • What do you long for?
